A beautiful 6 suite camp hidden on the banks of the Sand River.
The beautiful camp is small and intimate and in comparison to other lodges in the area, is a relative newcomer. The suites are all named after African Trees and take their design and interiors from the African Bush, the lodge is canvas for special commissioned art works that celebrate the Bush.
Aside from the incredible design this lounge area also had one very cool feature: a Swarovski Optik spotting scope. A piece of equipment costing upwards of $3500, giving guests a razor sharp view of the surrounding wilderness.
There is also a grand piano available for guests who wanted to tinkle on the ivories between game drives. However, the game drives are what can really make or break a safari experience and we are happy to report that Silvan really is everything we could have hoped for in this department. !
