VIRGIN VOYAGES
ADRIATIC SEA & GREEK GEMS from Athens 2024
When one thinks about Virgin one expects something different and with Virgin Voyages that is certainly the case. Virgin have certainly "rethought" cruising and even the most dedicated cruisers will be surprised at what they have come up with - exactly what you would expect from Sir Richard Branson!
Surprisingly, as you may not expect, it is not a non-stop party ship but the cruising model is certainly different to what you would find on traditional cruises lines. Let us introduce you to a new way of cruising.
WHAT TO EXPECT & THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCES
For starters, the ships do not follow traditional design guidelines. Expect bright reds & cool greys, contemporary furniture and cutting edge design. When it comes to your cruise fare, the biggest differences between Virgin Cruises and traditional cruise lines are as follows:
-
All food is included in all restaurants, so forget speciality dining surcharges. You also won't find a big main dining room. Instead you have around 20 eateries to choose from. The traditional buffet has been replaced with more of a trendy "Food Hall" concept. Perhaps the biggest surprise is how good the food is across the ship's venues.
-
Forget complicated drinks packages. Basic beverages are included in your cruise fare such as still and sparkling waters, non-pressed juices, soda's, tea's and coffees. Instead you will open a bar tab & if you prepay a certain amount through us we'll throw in even more value to your tab!
-
Wifi - no more expensive and complicated packages. It's included. Browse, post, and stay connected with wifi — whenever you want, and wherever you are on the ship.
-
Tips - they are already included so one less worry!
-
Wellness - Virgin has a strong emphasis on wellness & wellbeing - Yoga, meditation, cycling, HIIT classes, and more — all your group fitness classes are covered.
-
Shows & Entertainment - Developed by the world’s most-talked-about producers and artists, you have a ticket to all of their awe-inspiring shows.

Your Itinerary
Day 1: Piraeus (Athens)
The ship Resilient Lady departs Piraeus (Athens) at 18h00L this evening.
Day 2: At Sea
A full day at sea to take advantage of the incredible facilities on-board Resilient Lady. Definitely a good day to hit the Spa.
Day 3: Split
The ship arrives at Split at 09:00L and departs at 21:00L
The heart of the Split is a pedestrianized UNESCO World Heritage site. However, less than a 1-hour drive from the cruise port there are also fabulous destinations not to be missed. In particular, the Krka River National Park with magnificent waterfalls, the roman city ruins of Salona, the historic towns of Šibenik, Trogir, and Primošten. And the mighty Klis fortress made famous by the Game of Thrones series.
The cruise port of Split has a very appealing character, the historic area is very clean and immaculately kept. On the whole, Split is perfectly safe. The local population is friendly, pleasant, well mannered, and speaks English very well..
Day 4: Dubrovnik
The ship arrives at Dubrovnik port at 09:00L and departs at 22:00L.
As your luxurious cruise ship slowly sails into the Dubrovnik port, you will have a chance to enjoy the view of the lush green landscape around Dubrovnik town and charming traditional grey stone houses on one side.
On the other side of the port of Dubrovnik you cannot but notice a relatively new white suspension bridge of Dr. Franjo Tudjman, the first president of Croatia, at the very entrance into Dubrovnik. If you are standing outside on the open deck, take a deep breath, enjoy the seductive smell of clean sea, pine and cypress trees and get ready for an amazing day in beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Day 5: Kotor
The ship arrives at Kotor port at 09:00L and departs at 19:00L.
Kotor is a magical Montenegrin town located at the base of the Bay of Kotor. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Montenegro and for good reason. The city is full of rich history, stunning architecture and an atmospheric charm that is unmatched. The absolute best, and most famous part of Kotor is the stunning Kotor Old Town.
Day 6: Corfu
The ship arrives at Mykonos port at 09:00L and departs at 21:00L.
Corfu town, especially for its oldest part, is one of the most charming and romantic places of all the Greece. It is a perfect example of ancient Venetian and Byzantine art that will be able to fascinate you with its little streets and its panoramic points. Surrounded by the sea, the old town of Kerkyra is closed between the two ancient fortresses. The old Corfu town, built in the past between the two fortresses, has been developed with high buildings as consequence of the increasing number of the population.
All these houses, one next to the other, have been built of local stones, with wooden attics and handmade tiles.
Fortunately the number of buildings damaged by the Second World War is not so big, and today the charm of the old town of Corfu is preserved and can still remind us the past.
Day 7: At Sea.
A full day at sea to take advantage of the incredible facilities on-board Resilient Lady. Definitely a good day to hit the Spa.
Day 8: Piraeus (Athens)
The ship arrives at Piraeus port at 06h30L.
