Day One |
Start your Journey in Johannesburg
Welcome to Johannesburg, the bustling metropolis and a South African powerhouse. Upon arrival at O R Tambo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Four Seasons Westcliff Hotel for one night.
If you are arriving by private jet, we can arrange for a helicopter transfer from Lanseria International Airport (optional). Relax at the hotel or why not take one of our optional excursions such as a visit to the moving Apartheid Museum or delve into life in South Africa's largest township, Soweto.
This evening, relax at the Four Seasons Westcliff and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Four Seasons The Westcliff
Four Seasons Westcliff feels like a chic hillside village, with nine sun-splashed villas woven with courtyards, fountains and gardens.
Take a ride up the glass elevator for dinner and drinks at View, meet friends for a traditional braai (barbecue) at Flames, or simply step out onto your room’s balcony to enjoy a quiet moment as you admire the endless canopy of jacaranda trees that stretches out before you, which, come springtime, will blanket our northern suburb streets in a sea of purple blooms.
Day Two |
Lower Zambezi
After breakfast, a transfer by helicopter directly from the Four Seasons Westcliff to Lanseria Airport to meet your private jet for your flight to Livingstone, Zambia.
Upon arrival in Livingstone and completing customs and immigration formalities, you will transfer to a light aircraft for your flight to Mfuwe.
A transfer by four wheel drive vehicle to the stunning Chongwe Suites for 2 nights in the Lower Zambezi National Park.
Dinner most probably al-fresco this evening.
Chongwe Suites
Wake up to birdsong as the sun rises over the Zambezi River, reflecting the colours all around you. Listen to playful vervet monkeys scampering in the canopy as you watch elephants feed on the seed pods dropped from a nearby tree.
The one-bedroom Cassia Suite is a private suite for two, perfect for honeymooners and couples. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom Albida Suite sleeps four guests and is great for families wanting their own space or friends travelling together. Both have en-suite open air bathrooms with a clawfoot bath, a canopied lounge and dining area, a pool overlooking the river, a fire pit and a dedicated butler.
Dine privately in your suite or in the main camp lounge on the riverbank, enjoying cuisine that celebrates local seasonal ingredients. Notice how much better your nightcap tastes when it’s served in a crystal glass by the fire.
Day Three |
Lower Zambezi
Full day on safari in the Lower Zambezi National Park.
Listen to fish eagle calls and the faint sound of a resident family of warthogs ‘mowing’ the grass outside. Watch elephants wade across the river right in front of the house. Savour fine dining in the wild, featuring local and seasonal ingredients.
Game drives, walking safaris, canoeing safaris, boat cruises and tiger fishing are all on offer in Lower Zambezi National Park. Throughout your stay, a dedicated staff and guiding team will look after your every need and ensure you make the most of this haven for lions, leopards, wild dog, 370 species of birds and more. At nearby Time + Tide Chongwe Camp, the wildlife hide is great for photography, and for spotting rare nocturnal creatures.
Day Four |
Livingstone, Victoria Falls
After breakfast, a transfer by light aircraft to Livingstone Airport and there onto the stunning Royal Livingstone Hotel, perched on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Placed on the bank of Zambesi River faced to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World you will feel magically transported back in time to the Victorian era.
Take an exhilarating tour over the mighty Victoria Falls by Helicopter this afternoon before a relaxing sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

Volcanoes National Park is also known to the world as the research base of American zoologist Dian Fossey, who studied the primates here until her death in 1985.
